Child Safety Standards

Boba is strictly for users aged 18 and older. No exceptions.

We enforce this requirement through the following measures:

• Date of birth verification at registration — users must provide their date of birth during sign-up and must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• Terms of Service agreement — all users must agree to our Terms of Service, which explicitly prohibit anyone under the age of 18 from using the platform
• Account removal — if we discover or are informed that a user is under 18, their account is immediately suspended and removed
• Profile review — profiles that appear to belong to minors are flagged for review and removed if the user cannot verify they are 18 or older

Boba has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors.

• Prohibited content — any imagery, text, or other material depicting or promoting the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors is strictly prohibited
• AI-powered content safety — messages and media shared on the platform are analyzed by our safety systems to detect potentially harmful content, including CSAM indicators
• Immediate action — any content identified as CSAM is immediately removed, the user's account is permanently banned, and all relevant information is preserved for law enforcement
• Grooming prevention — our safety systems are designed to detect patterns of grooming behavior in messages and flag them for review

When CSAM or child exploitation content is identified or reported, we take the following steps:

• Immediate removal — the content is removed from the platform without delay
• Account suspension — the offending user's account is permanently banned
• NCMEC reporting — we file a report with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline as required by U.S. law
• Law enforcement cooperation — we preserve all relevant data and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
• Evidence preservation — relevant account information and content data are preserved in accordance with legal requirements for potential investigations

If you encounter any content or behavior on Boba that involves the exploitation or abuse of a child, you can report it through the following channels:

• In-app reporting — use the report button on any user's profile or message to flag content for review. Select the appropriate category for child safety concerns.
• Email — contact us directly at mangomachine.agency@gmail.com with the subject line "Child Safety Report"
• NCMEC CyberTipline — you can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org

All reports are treated with urgency. Child safety reports are prioritized above all other reports and are reviewed as quickly as possible.

Our content moderation practices include:

• Automated safety analysis — AI-powered systems scan content for safety violations including CSAM indicators, grooming language, and other exploitative content
• Human review — flagged content and user reports are reviewed by our team
• Community guidelines — our Community Guidelines explicitly prohibit any content involving the exploitation of minors
• Proactive monitoring — we do not wait for reports to act. Our systems proactively identify and address potential violations
